Vitamin B-1 (Thiamine)

Function 

  • Enhances circulation
  • assists in blood formation
  • carbohydrate metabolism
  • production of hydrochloric acid (important for digestion in the stomach).

Sources 
Brown rice, egg yolks, fish , legumes, liver, peanuts, peas, pork, poultry, wheat germ, whole grains, broccoli, brussel sprouts, sea vegetables, dried fruit, and many herbs.

Deficiency 
Beriberi, a nervous system disease is a caused by thiamine deficiency.
